Build My Future
Every year the Building Industry Association in conjunction with Lee County Schools and local contractors put on the "Build My Future" event. This is a chance for students to experience first-hand what it's like to spend a day in the construction industry. Students will have a chance to walk on "mock-roof" and install a solar panel, as well as carpentry, masonry, HVAC and more!

Lee County: Building Industry Association
The Lee Building Industry Association (Lee BIA), a not for profit trade organization representing Lee, Hendry and Glades counties,
is a powerful voice for the building industry in the regulatory arena. The Lee BIA is chartered by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and is an affiliate of the Florida Home Builders Association (FHBA), giving members three memberships in one. These combined memberships provide a seamless, constant flow of information – from the local, state and national levels as well as the various networking opportunities, events and programs provided by the Lee BIA. It is comprised of over 400 companies involved in every aspect of building and creating a thriving community for a growing Southwest Florida.
Adult & Career Education
The Adult, Career & Technical Education Department is responsible for providing quality programs in middle school, high school, Adult Basic and General Education, English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), and Life-long Learning. Also, partnerships are developed with businesses, agencies and other educational institutions to ensure collaboration and articulation of programs to the benefit of the students and the community.
