Where It All Began...
We launched the Solar Training and Workforce Development program at the Charlotte County Technical College in Port Charlotte, Florida in 2018. At this time, Director Rick Vaske updated the curriculum of Solar Installation for the Florida Department of Education to include the latest in Solar Design digital software, higher wattage panels with micro inverters and the introduction of some of the first inverter/battery combo systems with SolarEdge and LG Resnu.
Unfortunately, due to the challenges of COVID and not being able to offer "Hands-On" Training in the classroom, the program ended and is now being relaunched under the direction of Rick was again at the Fort Myers Technical College!
Graduation = Success!
The students were trained on safety, and all received their OSHA 10 Certification and every student passed with a NABCEP Associates Certification. Graduation was held April of 2019. Total of 18 students Pictured: 3 Graduates with Director, Rick Vaske
